~204 Kanji later, the start of Japanese course 2
I said goodbye to 2016 in the back seat of a bus while writing a presentation essay and studying like my life depended on it. I traveled back to Vaasa during the New Year night to make sure I could study without any distractions and that's what I did and passed the test. Japanese 2 course has now been going on for a good while and now there is hardly anything that I already know from my previous studies so I have to study even harder than before or some bad things will happen. Wish me luck.
^Here I'm leaving for Hämeenlinna to visit my parents on Christmas Eve. My friends took the pictures. Me and my mom ended up leaving for Lappeenranlta the next day (25.12.) to visit relatives. I got to drive our new car - not really a new one but they got it as used not so long ago so for me it was a new one - that I had never even seen before all the way to Lappeenranta in the dark evening while listening music. We spent a few days there and came back home.
Like I probably mentioned before, I'm now living in a new address. It's been fun also thanks to my friend who shares this apartment with me --> I can never know what comes next and I can only try to keep up with her. I wish I could have held a housewarming party at our house but since we moved before Christmas and there was too much going on I didn't have time to think about parties.
All in all everything has been more or less okay. I really like it here in Vaasa because of FKF so I don't mind that we need to study _a lot_ to keep up with school. This is for my future so I can't wait to be able to read more and more Kanji as we go on. Lately the longing to go visit Japan has also come back and I'm planning on going there this spring or autumn for the first time in my life. It's kind of scary because I have to overcome that "maybe later then" - attitude that I have had for years. It's because of it that I never got to go to Japan before!
A cooking & Culture class starts tomorrow. I'm looking forward to learning about Japanese food from our Watanabe-sensei. This is a great opportunity to see if I'm doing anything right considering Japanese cooking because I haven't been sure before. All I have done is learned from the internet by myself.
That was all this time, see ya~
